Legendary weapons are crafted in the Mystic Forge using a precursor weapon and the Gift of the Legendary Weapon associated with the desired end result, plus two other Gifts of Fortune and Mastery shared by other weapons of the same generation. Weapons of the first generation, released at the launch of Guild Wars 2, use Gift of Fortune and Gift of Mastery in their recipes, and second generation weapons, released during updates following Heart of Thorns, use Mystic Tribute and Gift of Maguuma Mastery, or Gift of Desert Mastery. Generation 3 legendary weapons have two unique "features" not shared with previous generations: 1) They have a special "kill effect" that sometimes triggers upon defeating an enemy, and 2) They have secondary, unlockable skins themed for the elder dragons. Additionally, players can experience enhanced previews of these legendaries when playing The Only One story chapter of End of Dragons, as your weapon is transformed into the corresponding Generation 3 legendary (with the base Aurene skin variant).
Legend: Legacy of Dragons Gets New PvP Features
Asphalt Board presents Car Filters!Through our Discord and Social Media channels, we recently introduced our new initiative: Asphalt Board. For those of you who haven't heard yet, Asphalt Board is an in-game survey that targets very engaged players and allows us to gather feedback to make the game more appealing to you. This initiative is also tied with the suggestion system we have on Discord, so our goal is to be able to turn your specific suggestions into actual game features.
But while Horde 3.0 is a neat addition to the game, for me, Gears of War 4's multiplayer PvP is where its longevity is to be found. The game features six different modes, all of which are five versus five. Team Deathmatch is self-explanatory, while Dodgeball sets you the objective of eliminating the entire opposing team. The twist, however, is that the only way a downed player gets to respawn is if a teammate takes out an enemy. King of the Hill involves capturing and holding nodes, and Arms Race is similar to Team Deathmatch, except that every three kills sees your team's weapons get upgraded. Guardian is another mode where it's all about killing the opposing team, but this time each team has a leader who must be protected at all costs. While they're alive, their teammates are able to respawn, but if they're eliminated, there are no more respawns. Finally, Warzone is another team elimination game where players only have one life. 2ff7e9595c
